The Muskie court teams are almost halfway to an astounding accomplishment of ultimate perfection.
All four squads sit in first place in their respective divisions with 3-0 records following a sweep of the winless Kenora Broncos in NorWOSSA action there Tuesday.
In junior girls’ basketball, Abby Sanders had a game-high 10 points as Fort High romped to a 41-15 victory.
Jyllian Westover added seven points while Bryanna Dustin had six.
“Overall, I was really pleased with our performance,” said Muskie coach Gord McCabe.
“We really controlled the boards for the most part and that made a huge difference.”
The Muskie senior girls also had their shooting touch locked in Tuesday as they dumped the host Broncos 45-23.
Top scorers were unavailable at press time.
On the volleyball court, the Muskie junior boys were challenged by Kenora but battled back from a 2-1 deficit in the best-of-five match before prevailing 3-2 (25-19, 25-27, 17-25, 25-5, and 15-6).
Meanwhile, it was business as usual for the senior boys, who cruised to a 3-0 sweep of the Broncos (25-20, 25-14, and 25-11).
All four teams finally will get to play their NorWOSSA home-openers next Wednesday (Oct. 14), with action getting underway at noon.
