The Muskie girls’ hockey team is heading in the right direction in its attempt to bring home a provincial title.
The black-and-gold, seeded third in the 16-team tournament, advanced to the quarter-finals of the OFSAA ‘A/AA’ girls’ hockey championships in Timmins after edging 16th-ranked St. Joseph CSS (Mississauga) 4-3 this morning to finish atop Pool ‘C’ play with a 3-0 record.
Fort High faced fourth-seeded Leaside HS, which had finished second in Pool ‘D,’ in their quarter-final showdown this afternoon (the outcome wasn’t known as of press time).
