The Muskie boys’ and girls’ soccer teams kicked off the NorWOSSA regular season here yesterday with mixed results.
The boys battled to a 1-1 draw with the Kenora Broncos in the morning game, then cruised to a 5-0 shutout over the Dryden Eagles in the afternoon.
Goal scorers were not known as of press time.
In girls’ action, the Muskies opened with a 2-0 loss to the Broncos before suffering a 3-1 defeat to the Eagles.
Pasquel Shortreed netted Fort High’s lone marker in the second half.
Both squads will be back in action tomorrow at an exhibition tournament in Kenora.
