Women’s soccer teams to compete in Dryden

Two Borderland women’s soccer teams will be competing in a invitational tournament in Dryden on July 14-15. Also scheduled to compete are teams from Kenora and Thunder Bay.
Those going won’t necessarily be league teams but rather a group of any interested players. Anyone interested should contact league co-ordinator Jodi Johnson.
Johnson is pleased to announce how well the girls have been at refereeing their own games. Each league referee has taken courses at the youth competitive level.
She added the league definitely is not taking any more players this season as teams are sending away their insurance and registration information to Soccer Northwest.
