The FFGHA women’s league is scheduled to start Saturday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. in the ’52 Canadians Arena.
The first two sessions, which include drills and skill development, are a trial basis for $10 per session, with the cost for the season being $150.

In related news, the NorFab Flames girls’ PeeWee travel team hosted its first scrimmage versus the Falls 12U team last week.
The teams battled to a 6-6 tie.
If you are looking for something to do this weekend, come on down to the Ice For Kids Arena on Friday (Oct. 29) at 6:45 p.m. to watch the Dynamic Homes girls’ Atom rep team face the Causeway Cougars Atom boys’ team.
And then on Sunday (Oct. 31), the Fort Frances Leafs girls’ Bantam rep team will square off against the BP Royals boys’ PeeWee ‘AA’ squad at 1:15 p.m. at the Ice For Kids Arena.
