Which team reigns supreme is still unknown in the Rainy River District Women’s Fastball League.
The championship final between the top-ranked Renegades and third-seeded Fort Frances Her-icanes has now been pushed to a third different night as poor weather on Monday forced it to be postponed.
A make-up date had not been announced as of press time.
The two sides originally attempted to square off in the final last Wednesday night but it ended as a 4-4 tie after 10 innings due to darkness, forcing the need to replay the game in its entirety.
A possible second game would have to be scheduled to be played at Oltsher Field in Barwick.
In the Rainy River District Fastball League, meanwhile, Game 2 of the best-of-three championship series between the Barwick Blue Knights and Fort Frances Braves that was scheduled for last night at Couchiching was postponed due to the field being too wet.
A make-up date and time will be announced in the near future.
The East Division champion Braves have their backs to the wall and are looking to stave off elimination after dropping the opener 9-5 last Thursday night in Barwick.
A possible third-and-deciding game would also go at Couchiching, with the date still to be determined.
