Pardon the Sight & Sound Wolves if they begin to emulate that famous wrestling tandem known as the “Road Warriors.”
The Wolves rattled off their third road victory of the Rainy River District Fastball League playoffs—and second over regular-season champs Big Grassy—in a 7-0 whitewash of their hosts last night.
Bob Andy pitched the shutout despite going seven innings in a 4-3 quarter-final win over Big Island on Monday night.
The Wolves will get a much-needed day off today, and then head on the road to Barwick tomorrow to battle the Blue Knights for the league crown starting at 6 p.m.
Barwick has won the RRDFL title each of the last three seasons.
