Wolves play Stratton tonight

The Sight & Sound Wolves will face some stiff competition tonight at VanJura Park when they take on Stratton in their second Rainy River District Fastball League playoff game.
The Wolves cruised to an easy 12-6 victory in their first-round matchup against Sabaskong.
Meanwhile, Stratton earned their berth in the second-round courtesy a hard fought 6-4 victory over International Falls.
The visitors will have their work cut out for them tonight if they are to upset the regular season’s top seed.
Sight & Sound swept Stratton in their two regular season contests by scores of 7-6 and 21-2.
First pitch tonight is scheduled for 8 p.m.
In other RRDFL playoff action, Rainy River is at home to Barwick.
The hosts are looking to get past Barwick to set up a showdown with Sight & Sound this Thursday night at VanJura.
The game would feature the league’s top two regular season teams.
Barwick, however, will look to play the role of spoiler, for which they are well-suited given the two hard fought regular season contests they played against Rainy River.
River Rainy won the regular season games by scores of 5-4 in nine innings and 8-5.
In the remaining two games of the evening, International Falls are home to Sabaskong and Big Island will host Big Grassy.
First pitch in each of the three games being held throughout the district is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
