The Rainy River District Fastball League playoffs continue this evening, with the first four elimination games scheduled to take place.
The marquee game will be at VanJura Stadium here as the two-time defending champ Sight & Sound Wolves look to stay alive against the Couchiching Raiders.
Elsewhere, the Stratton Eagles host the Big Island Huskies, the Northwest Bay Chieftains entertain the Sabaskong Cubs, and the Sabaskong Lakers visit the Manitou Thunderbirds.
On the winners’ side of the bracket, the top four teams from the regular season have yet to lose, although that will change when they go head-to-head on Thursday evening.
The top-seeded Big Grassy Braves will host the Rainy River Royals while Beef’s Warriors will entertain the Barwick Blue Knights at Couchiching.
