It was not their weekend to howl.
The Sight & Sound Wolves had their stay at the North American Fastpitch Association (NAFA) ‘A’ Division World Series in Fargo, N.D. end Saturday with a 6-4 loss to Oregon’s NW Braves in a Losers’ Bracket elimination game.
That left the Wolves with a 1-3 record for the tournament.
Sight & Sound followed its opening 11-1 loss to the KC Indios (Kansas) on Thursday with a heart-pounding 8-7 comeback win over the Saskatoon Padres in its first game Friday.
The Wolves trailed 6-1 after four innings and 7-5 entering the bottom of the seventh before coming up with three runs in their final at-bat to pull out the victory.
But Sight & Sound was left crying in its beer after WAH (Banning, Calif.) earned a 5-3 decision later Friday before the Braves ousted the Wolves the following day.
