Wildcats slice lead in half

The Wildcats aim to scratch their way to the top of the Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League—and they’ll sharpen their claws on the defending champs if they have to.
Gillons’ still sits in first place after action last Thursday night with 14 points. But their lead over the second-place Wildcats, who now have 13, is half of what it was two weeks ago.
The Die Hards remain in third place with 11 points while Del’s Angels continue to hold down fourth position with nine.
Crush and Scared Hitless are deadlocked in fifth with six points apiece while the Mixed Nuts, the Power Paks, and G.I. Jane’s are tied for seventh (four points each).
The Placers are in 10th with one point while the Rookies still have yet to register a point so far this season.
Action continues tomorrow night (Nov. 27) at 7 p.m. at Fort High and Robert Moore School.
