Wildcats scratch way to top

The Wildcats are proving to be mighty feisty felines.
The Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League saw its first change atop the standings this season after last Thursday night’s action, with the Wildcats (15 points) moving one ahead of 10-time defending champion Gillons’ (14).
The Die Hards are right behind in third with 13 while Del’s Angels hold fourth place with 11. Crush now has fifth all to itself (eight points), followed by Scared Hitless (seven) and G.I. Jane’s (six).
The Power Paks and the Mixed Nuts are tied for ninth (four points each) while The Placers remain in 11th (one point). The last-place Rookies are still looking for their first point of the season.
Action resumes tomorrow night at Fort Frances High School and Robert Moore beginning at 7 p.m.
