Greg Ward beat out Bob Crowe and Barry Coffin in an extra playoff hole Sunday to capture the Harry Barefoot Memorial plaque in this year’s Memorial golf tournament at Kitchen Creek.
All three had finished the 18-hole event with a one-over par 73.
Finishing in third place in the championship flight was Ryan Adamson, who carded a 75. Greg Ross was next with a 77.
Meanwhile, Dave Green took home the Bob Biggs Memorial plaque for winning the first flight with a 76, two strokes better than Rob Crowe and Gerry Hercun.
Ian McLennan was next at 80.
Glen Edwards was tops in the second flight with a 78 to win the Harvey Shute Memorial plaque. He was four strokes ahead of Terry Krawchuk, John McLeod, and Mike Asplund.
And Cory Hercun won the Tom Onichuk Memorial plaque for finishing atop the third flight with a net score of 70.
That was one stroke better than Murray Georgeson and two ahead of Ken O’Niel. Conelly Thayer was fourth with a net 73.
