Ian Jodoin and Joey Angus each scored once as the third-place La Place Rendez-Vous U18 Voyageurs battled first-place Manitou Forest Products to a 2-2 draw in Borderland Soccer League men’s division play last night.
Ahamadou Idrissou tallied twice to give him a league-leading 17 goals this season for Manitou (9-1-4), who tied for the second-straight game.
The Voyageurs (5-4-3) have shown their willingness to go the distance with the league’s top team recently after only losing 2-1 in their previous encounter.
Meanwhile, second-place ITS (5-2-5) moved two points up on the Vous after a 5-0 win over last-place Pharmasave (0-12-2).
Brandon Sinclair, Zach Koomans, Lucas Koomans, Max Williams, and Cam Gobeil were the goal scorers.
Men’s action resumes Tuesday when ITS faces the Vous at 7 p.m.
