La Place Rendez-Vous improved its league-best record to 9-2 with an 85-69 win over Taggs in local men’s basketball play last night at Fort High.
Josh Mastin once again led the Vous offensively, this time netting 52 points.
Jacob McIntosh scored 19 for Taggs, which fell to a league-worst 2-9 record.
The other game saw Boston Pizza win by forfeit over the Muskies, who were in St. Catharines for the all-Ontarios.
As a result, Boston Pizza now sports an 8-3 mark while the Muskies dropped to 3-8.
With no games taking place this coming Monday due to the March Break, the league will conclude its regular-season slate on Monday, March 19.
The Muskies will take on Taggs at 6:45 p.m.
The late game (8 p.m.) will feature a battle for first place between the Vous and Boston Pizza.
