The Muskies finally met their match as La Place Rendez-Vous team hammered out an 83-82 overtime win in men’s basketball action here Monday night.
Derek Dowty of the Vous squad led all scorers with 30 points, just ahead of Muskie Morgan Anderson, who notched 27.
The game was a bit of revenge for the Vous, who dropped a 74-72 game to the Muskies in the dying seconds back on Dec. 3.
In the late game Monday, Shaw Net clobbered Taggs 86-56.
John Sivonen put up 29 points for Shaw, with Todd Riches’ even dozen the tops for Taggs.
