VNP presents ‘The Reclusive Moose’

Press Release

Moose are icons of the Northwoods seldom seen by the average visitor to Voyageurs National Park. Join park naturalist Megan Wilkins for a look at what makes moose so hard to find in Voyageurs.
Learn about a two-year moose study being conducted in the park and the moose’s special adaptations to its environment.
Meet at the Woodenfrog State Forest Campground Refectory on Friday, July 2, 2010. The program runs from 7-8 p.m. and is recommended for ages six and up.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of Voyageurs National Park. No fee or registration is required to attend.
