Vianets clinch first

Vianets will finish the Fort Frances Men’s Basketball League season where they began it—atop the standings.
The defending champs (12-1) cemented their top dog status with a 65-55 victory over second-place team La Place Rendez-Vous (10-3) on Monday night at Fort High.
John Sivonen was the game’s top scorer, pouring in 21 points for Vianets, while Brad Wardas led all Rendez-Vous scorers with 16.
Meanwhile, the Fort High Muskies (5-8) got back on the winning track with a 87-72 win over Taggs (0-13) on Monday.
Morgan Anderson led all scorers with 31 points while Darren Tunguzzi netted 28 for Taggs.
League action continues this Monday (March 5) at 6:30 p.m. at Fort High.
