The March Break was so good, apparently many of the players in the Borderland Women’s Indoor Soccer League would rather have had the regular season end than the break.
It was an evening of inaction on what was supposed to be the final night of the regular season last night at Fort High, with both games decided by forfeit.
D-Feeters (4-4) moved into second place by themselves by getting the win over first-place Kicker Instinct (6-2), whose only two setbacks this year have been by forfeit.
Tough Enough (3-5), meanwhile, moved into a third-place tie with the Goal Diggers (3-5) after they also had to bow out.
The playoff schedule will be released in the coming days.
