The local YBC held its “Bowler of the Year” tournament Sunday at Plaza Lanes, with Kaleb Watts finishing the three-game showdown with the highest pins over average total.
The tournament pitted each winner of Bowler of the Month honours in their respective divisions this past season.
Watts, who came into the tourney with a 56 average, topped the PeeWee division with a +148 after rolling games of 144, 104, and 68 for a 316 total.
Joey Ballan was second at +97, with games of 92, 76, and 151 for a 319 total, while Luke Esselink was third at +11 (90, 76, and 79 for a 245).
In Bantam action, Adam Esselink was tops with a +68, finishing with games of 107, 142, and 116 for a 365 total.
Ashley LaFreniere took second with a +51 total (138, 208, and 113 for a 459) while Annelise Hawrylak was a close third with a +50 total (102, 158, and 120 for a 380).
Meanwhile, Michelle Pattison finished atop the junior division with a +84 after bowling games of 151, 70, and 190 for a 411 total.
Finishing in a tie for second at +59 were Jordan Bale (169, 144, and 224 for a 537) and Sheldon Legaree (163, 182, and 200 for 545).
And in the high school division, John Smith led the way at +119 score after games of 177, 250, and 250 for a 677 total.
Dan Bone was next at +105 (194, 221, and 176 for a 591 total) while Carolyn O’Brien was third with a +42 (229, 145, and 154 for a 528).
