First place already is decided but it’s a dandy duel for second.
The One Hit Wonders earned the maximum six points last Thursday to boost its season total to 105 points atop the Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League.
But it’s an all-out street fight behind them.
Defending champion Scared Hitless also notched six points last week to move into a second-place tie with Kiss My Pass at 80 each entering the final week of regular-season play tonight.
No Diggity sits in fourth (72) while Spiked Punch and Bump it Up remained deadlocked for fifth (64).
Let’s Talk About Sets holds down seventh (59), with Gillons’ Northerners in eighth (54).
Wild Sets (35) is now in ninth by only two points ahead of Rockstars (33).
Sloppy Sets is 11th (24) while I’d Hit That sits in last place (14).
With no make-up games necessary, a mini-tournament will be played next Thursday (March 12).
No games are scheduled the following week due to March Break.
Playoffs then begin on March 26, with the final slated for April 16.
The ninth-annual Struchan Gilson Memorial Volleyball Tournament will follow on April 18.
