It’s been quite a turnaround for Taggs in the local men’s basketball league so far this season.
After finishing third last season, Taggs now has beaten all three league rivals—completing the early-season sweep with a narrow 56-54 win over the Muskies (2-1) last night.
Mario DeGazio led Taggs’ balanced attack with 12 points while Caleb McIntosh drained 20 in a losing cause.
Meanwhile, in the battle of winless teams last night, Boston Pizza got off the schneid, edging the Vous 59-53.
Nate Berlin had a game-high 25 points for the Vous (0-3), with Adrian Chapman netting 12 for Boston Pizza (1-2).
