Taggs sitting atop men’s hoops league

Taggs moved into sole possession of first place in the local men’s basketball league after dumping La Place Rendez-Vous 82-63 on Wednesday night at Fort High.
Dustin Mowe led Taggs, which now sports an 8-3 record for the season, with a 20-point outing.
Nate Berlin netted 20 points for the Vous, who sit in the basement with a 1-10 mark.
The other game Wednesday saw Justin Anderson score 21 points to lead the Muskies to a 77-73 triumph over Boston Pizza.
The Muskies improved to 6-5 with the victory while Boston Pizza, led by a 24-point performance from John Sivonen, lost their second-straight contest to sit at 7-4.
League action continues next Wednesday when the Muskies take on Taggs at 6:45 p.m., followed by the Vous squaring off against Boston Pizza at 8 p.m.
