It was a solid showing overall for the Muskie track-and-field contingent at the Bronco Booster Track & Field Invite varsity meet held Tuesday at Falls High School.
Sekina Scheibler claimed top spot in boys’ discus with a throw of 137′,08.25″ while Aaron Scheibler was right behind at 105′,50″.
Sean Huziak finished in eighth (93′,06″) with Brady Meeks placing 25th (70′,03.25″).
Then in shot put, Muskie Aaron Scheibler nabbed bronze with a throw of 37′,04″ while Sekina Scheibler was right behind at 36′,10.5″.
On the girls’ side, Jill Calder placed ninth with a throw of 27′,01″, Tori Toriseva was 20th (22′,10″), and Emma Toriseva finished 29th (17′,08.5″).
Fort High took fourth place in the girls’ 4×800 metre relay with a time of 12:07.82.
Nadia Webb finished eighth in the girls’ 100m dash (14.87), Calder was 14th (15.44), Jyllian Westover was 22nd (15.69), Leah Sequin was 25th (16.26), and Jacey Gagne was 27th (16.55).
Carson Noga finished fifth (12.77) in the boys’ 100m, with Ben Olson placing 18th (14.03) and Caelin Mayhew right behind (14.05).
Ashlyn Beck nabbed bronze in the girls’ 1,600m (6:18.99), Alexia Gate was fourth (6:26:00), Tori Toriseva was fifth (6:28.73), and Emma Toriseva was eighth (6:51.37).
The black-and-gold also finished fourth in the girls’ 4x100m relay, clocking in at 1:00.81, while the Muskie boys finished third in their race (51.56).
Sequin nabbed sixth spot in the girls’ 400m dash (1:14.19), with Kenna Spuzak finishing ninth (1:20.93).
Noga placed sixth on the boys’ side (59.13) while Mayhew was 17th (1:13.24).
Alacea Yerxa finished ninth in the girls’ 800m (3:16.43), with Jacey Gagne taking 13th (3:23.44).
Webb was the lone Muskie in the girls’ 200m dash, nabbing bronze with a time of 31.14, while Sekina Scheibler finished fifth on the boys’ side (26.04).
Ellie Petsnick and Westover tied for fourth in girls’ high jump (4′,04″), Sequin was sixth (4′,02″) while Katrina Slomke finished 12th (3′,10″).
Olson was the lone Muskie on the boys’ side, placing seventh with a jump of 4′,10″.
The Muskies next will see action at a meet this Monday in Baudette, Mn.
