A trio of St. Francis School students won their divisions at the regional elementary cross-country meet held last Wednesday (Oct. 6) at Crossroads School in Devlin.
Zack Swing won in the Grade 5 boys’ division, edging out classmate Ayden Sunstrum, who finished in second, while Sentinels Aaron Bujold and Brandon Larson finished fifth and sixth, respectively.
Sydney Radigan won the Grade 7 girls’ division, with Maggie Jean, Clair Hyatt, and Nicole Piotrowski finished eighth, ninth, and 10th, respectively.
As well, in the Grade 7 boys’ division, Jarred Taylor captured top spot.
Other St. Francis results included:
•Grade 4 boys—Jace Jackson (fourth place);
•Grade 5 girls—Siohban Mackintosh (ninth place);
•Grade 6 boys—Michael Drouin (sixth place), Eric Matthews (seventh place), and Davis Jackson (10th place);
•Grade 8 girls—Anika Alexander (fourth place) and Cassandra Moffitt (eighth place); and
•Grade 8 boys—Matt Berube (fifth place), Ben Whitburn (sixth place), Sam Tibbs (seventh place), and Jacob Bolzan (10th place).
