Three members of the local Sunset Country Squash Club travelled to Winnipeg over the weekend to participate in the Winter Club’s open squash tournament.
In the girls’ under-13 & 15 recreational division, Kimika and Anika Alexander both defeated Nochole Wills and Kianna Cadugan by scores of 3-0.
Then Kimika blanked her sister 3-0, with the first game going 10-8 in the final.
In the ladies’ ‘B/C’ event, Manami Alexander swept Monica De Jong, Margaret Boumford, and Melina Turk by identical 3-0 scores to be crowned the champ.
