The Gavel racing team was able to claim six of nine possible trophies last weekend in Thompson, Man.
John Gavel placed first in the Masters final, second in the 30+ Open final, and third in the 30+ final.
Rob Gavel, meanwhile, collected a second-place trophy in the Open final to go along with a third-place showing in the 600 final and a fourth-place finish in the 440 final.
Finally, Danny Gavel was third in the 440 final fourth in both the 440 and Open finals.
Their next racing action is slated this weekend (Feb. 19-20) in Kenora.

Steve Arpin has been racing in Florida earlier this month and has produced some favourbale results.
On Feb. 5 at the Renegade 100 in Satsuma, he took second in both heats, but did not finish the feature due to track conditions.
The next day, Arpin claimed a first-place finish in Heat 1 and then a fourth in Heat 2 before finishing third in the feature.
Then on Feb. 9 in Volusia, Arpin finished in first place in both the heat and the feature.

In “Monday Night” men’s basketball action this week, the Muskies won by default over the Vianets while La Place Rendez-Vous won by default over Taggs.
