Racers will have to wait an extra week to get the 2011 season underway at the Emo Speedway as last Saturday’s opener was postponed due to intermittent rain showers during the day.
The first night of racing now is set for this Saturday (May 28), with hot laps starting at 7 p.m. and the first race at 7:30 p.m. (weather permitting).
There also will be pre-race driver introductions in the WISSOTA Modifieds, WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, and Street Stocks.
As well, fans will have the chance to vote for the best-appearing car awards in all three divisions.
The grandstand gates will open at 6 p.m.
