The Borderland Racing Association is hoping the third time’s the charm as it once again tries to get the 2011 season underway at the Emo Speedway.
For the second-straight Saturday, inclement conditions forced the postponement of the season-opener last weekend, with downpours occurring throughout the day at the track.
Weather permitting, action is set for this Saturday (June 4), with hot laps at 7 p.m. and the first race at 7:30.
Driver introductions and the best-appearing car award, judged by the fans, also will take place for all three divisions.
The grandstand will open to fans at 6 p.m.
