Both Muskie soccer teams advanced to the semi-finals today at the NorWOSSA tournament in Kenora after convincing wins in pool play yesterday.
The boys downed Sioux Lookout 8-1 and Red Lake 2-0 while the girls blanked both Sioux Lookout 9-0 and Dryden 5-0.
The two teams–both ranked number-one at the tourney–were still waiting to find out who their semi-final opponents would be as of press time this morning.
The semi-final winners will meet in the finals later today, with those winners advancing to their respective NWOSSAA championships next week.
