The Fort Frances Snipers edged the Kenora Thistles 2-1 on Saturday at the Memorial Sports Centre.
Ian Tookenay, with a short-handed marker in the first period, and Jon Busch, with a power-play goal in the third, scored for the local Atom ‘AA’ squad.
Matthew Booth earned the win between the pipes.
The Snipers’ next home game is set for Sunday, Dec. 19 at 3:45 p.m. versus Baudette.
