Registration for the upcoming mixed slo-pitch baseball league will continue through next Wednesday in hopes of filling its 46-team capacity.
Since accepting teams on April 30, the league has only signed 12 teams.
“It’s slowed down in the past,” said league co-ordinator Megan Ross. “People are a lot more busy these days.”
The due date is more strict this year because schedules will be made available on May 10.
Teams from Fort Frances pay $265 while non-resident teams pay $305. A team rep meeting will be held on May 3.
Interested players can register at the Memorial Sports Centre from 6:30 a.m.-10 p.m. on weekdays, 8:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. on Sunday.
