SIJHL final starts Sunday

The Fort Frances Lakers and Wisconsin Wilderness will square off in the best-of-seven SIJHL final starting this Sunday (April 1) in Spooner.
The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m. at the Northwest Sports Complex there.
Game 2 is set for the following night in Spooner (April 2), but with the start time being moved up to 7 p.m.
Games 3 and 4 will take place Wednesday, April 4 and Thursday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ice For Kids Arena here.
Game 5, if necessary, will take place in Spooner on Saturday, April 7, with a Game 6 occurring here Monday, April 9.
If a seventh and deciding game is needed, it will be played Wednesday, April 11 back at the Northwest Sports Complex.
The winner of the Bill Salonen Cup will go on to represent the SIJHL at the Dudley Hewitt Cup in Thunder Bay from April 17-21, where they will take on the host Thunder Bay North Stars and the yet-to-be determined champions from the NOJHL and OJHL.
The Wilderness are looking to make their second-straight trip to the regional championship while the Lakers are trying to make it to the Dudley Hewitt Cup for the first time in franchise history.
