The SIJHL will see a new team for the 2013/14 season with the addition of the Ear Falls Eagles.
The Eagles, who will become the sixth team in the Junior ‘A’ league, will play out of the Ear Falls Arena when the new season begins.
Their team colours are expected to be black, white, gold, and orange.
Ear Falls Mayor Kevin Kahoot, who briefly was the bench boss of the Thunder Bay North Stars at the start of the 2012/13 campaign, will be the team’s head coach and general manager for the inaugural season.
The rest of the organization is expected to be finalized in the coming days.
Ear Falls is the first new club to join the SIJHL since the Iron Range Ironheads (now the Minnesota Iron Rangers) entered in 2011.
