The boys of summer are back.
Sight & Sound got the Rainy River District Fastball League season off to a strong start Tuesday night with a 12-3 romp over host International Falls.
Bob Andy put in a strong performance on the mound for the Fort Frances-based team, picking up the win over Duane Carlson Sr.
Andy also contributed at the plate by homering.
Sight & Sound returns to action tonight when it hosts Big Island, which got its season off on a winning note Tuesday night with a 4-3 win over Big Grassy.
Game time is 8 p.m.
In other RRDFL action Tuesday night, Barwick blanked Sabaskong 10-0.
Kevin Gemmell led the offensive attack with a home run while pitcher George Oltsher earned the win. John Big George took the loss.
Stratton, meanwhile, travelled to Rainy River and won their opener 2-1 in a close contest.
Guy Arpin was credited with the win while Murray Armstrong was tagged with the loss.
Other games tonight in the eight-team league will have Rainy River visiting Big Grassy, Stratton at home to Barwick, and Sabaskong hosting International Falls.
These games all are scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
