Sight & Sound looking to snap skid

Sight & Sound (5-2) will be looking to end their two-game losing streak when they travel to Big Island (2-5) this evening in Rainy River District Fastball League action.
The Fort Frances-based squad has not won a game in June after starting the season with five-straight wins. And they find themselves looking up at a team in the standings for the first time.
But while Sight & Sound is struggling to regain their winning ways, first-place Rainy River (6-1) is playing its best ball of the season.
Rainy River has won games six in a row after losing to Stratton on opening night. They will look to continue their red-hot play when they host Big Grassy (2-4) tonight.
In other action around the league tonight, Barwick (4-3) is home to Stratton (4-3). Both teams are looking to move up in the standings by breaking their tie for third place.
And International Falls (3-3) will be gunning to go over .500 when they host last-place Sabaskong (1-6).
The game marks the second time in less than a week that these two teams will face each other.
They played a game Thursday night to make up one cancelled earlier in the season, with Derek Bilben belting three home runs as the Falls scored 18 runs in the rout.
Sabaskong’s lone win of the season came against Big Grassy back on May 23.
Tonight’s games all start at 7 p.m.
