Melanie Scott, who plays defence for the Muskie girls’ hockey team, has signed a letter of intent to suit up for the Rainy River Community College women’s hockey squad for the 2011/12 season.
“Melanie brings with her a great work ethic and the desire to continually improve her skills, which is what we need at our level of competition,” said Voyageurs’ head coach Evan Amdahl.
“I know Melanie is excited to continue the tradition of Fort Frances girls playing at Rainy River Community College,” he added.
RRCC is located across the river in International Falls.
