Chris Sinclair, Logan McDonell, Brendan Baumgartner, and Dan Usiski netted first-period goals while Kyle Turgeon scored in the second.
Sinclair notched his second of the game in the third before Kalib Thunderchief rounded out the scoring.
Mitch Cain added three assists to give him a league-best six points in the playoffs so far.
The Sabres’ power play showed signs of life last night with two goals after going 0-for-9 in their slim 2-1 victory in Game 2 here Saturday night.
Kalan Ewald scored the Flyers’ lone goal on a power play 13:30 into the second period.
Ryan Faragher earned the victory with 20 saves while former Sabre David Novak was pulled after giving up the seventh goal on the visitors’ 38th shot.
