For the second-straight game, La Place Rendez-Vous picked up an overtime win in local men’s basketball league play.
The Vous edged the Muskies 95-89 yesterday evening at the Fort High gym in the first night of action for teams after the Christmas break.
Leading the Vous, who had won a 63-59 overtime thriller over Boston Pizza back on Dec. 19, was Josh Mastin, who netted an eye-popping 47 points.
Will Anderson topped the Muskies with 30 points.
In the late game, Boston Pizza earned a 77-53 victory over Taggs, pulling away in the second half largely thanks to a 25-point effort by Rob McGinnis.
Todd Richards scored 20 points for Taggs.
League play resumes next Monday with the Muskies squaring off against Boston Pizza at 6:30 p.m.
Taggs then will take on the Vous at 8 p.m.
