NWO Regional Peewee AAA All Stars will be hosting a two-day evaluation and team selection camp for players interested in participating in their 2007-2008 program.
The camp will be held on Saturday, Sept. 1 and Sunday Sept. 2 in Kenora at the Keewatin Memorial Arena. The camp starts at noon on the Saturday and concludes at 4 p.m. on the Sunday.
The cost to participate is $40 per registrant, payable prior to the first on ice session.
Each player will receive three hours of practice time and will participate in four inter-squad games spread over the two days.
The camp is open to all Western Zone (Kenora, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Ignace, Emo, Fort Frances, Vermilion Bay, Ear Falls, Red Lake and Atikokan) registered peewee aged players born in 1995 or 1996. Individuals desiring to participate in the evaluations shall demonstrate the ability and skills to compete at the AA level.
The team will be organized and administered by the Lake of the Woods Minor Hockey Association and coached by Dan Reynard, Dave Fisher and Barry Reynard.
The Branch Championship is scheduled for Kenora in March 2008 with two teams advancing to the All-Ontario championship to be held in Thunder Bay later that month.
