The defending RRDFL champion Sight & Sound Wolves will have to wait a while longer to find out who they’ll play in the semi-finals this coming Tuesday night.
That’s because last night’s playoff game between the Big Grassy Braves and Rainy River Royals ended in a 7-7 tie due to darkness.
Both teams elected to replay the game on Monday night, starting at 6 p.m. at Big Grassy Field.
The winner of that game won’t have long to rest up, though, as they will be taking on Sight & Sound the following night in the semi-finals.
That game is set for 6:30 p.m. on a field still to be determined.
Waiting to see what transpires is the top team from the regular season, Beef’s Warriors, who already have clinched a spot into the RRDFL final.
That will be played next Thursday (Aug. 25) at 6:30 p.m. at Couchiching.
If Beef’s Warriors lose, a second game will be needed on Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 6:30 p.m. to determine the league champs.
