Nine Sunset Country Squash Club members recently played in the Oasis Manitoba ProAm Squash Tournament on the weekend.
Men’s B division players were Shawn Brady losing in the semi finals and Josh Councillor did not advance to the finals.
Jeff Wright played in the Men’s C Division placing as runner-up in the final match to Winnipeg’s Aiden Hughes. Mike Canfield who was in this Division as well won the C Plate. The other members playing in the C Division were Mike Brady, Ryan Brady and Andrew Hanson who failed to advance in their division.
Carter Payne playing in the Men’s D Division won his first 2 matches and lost going into the finals. He was victorious in the 3/4 playoff over Jacob Harapiak 3-0.
Hunter Jean was in the Mixed under 15 winning the Consolation with 3 wins and 1 loss.
