It was nearly a clean sweep for the Muskie court sports teams against the visiting Sioux Lookout Warriors on Monday afternoon.
Three of the four squads came away with wins over the Warriors in NorWOSSA action at Fort High.
In boys’ basketball action, the Muskie seniors improved to a league-best 6-0 with a 87-46 romp over the Warriors (3-2).
Wyatt Richards led all scorers with 25 points in the win for the Muskies while Mike Vanderaa chipped in with 18.
Dominic States potted 11 points, Sean Huziak notched 10, and Jordon Bazylewski had eight.
Braydon Christiansen tallied six points while William Richards scored five and Caleb Allan had four to round out the offence.
The first-place juniors, meanwhile, saw their record improve to 5-1 with a 48-37 win over the winless Warriors (0-5).
Joaquin Woolsey had a 10-point performance to pace the Muskies while Ethan Barker added eight points.
Noah McPherson and Taylor Chown both chipped in with six points apiece while Garrett Paull had four.
Kade Oster, Sullivan Spiers, Christian Armstrong and Adros Bruyere each tallied three points while Ashton Barnes and Reed McKinnon each scored a basket to round out the offence.
In girl’s volleyball action, the Muskie seniors improved to a league-best 6-0 with a 2-0 win over the Warriors.
The set scores were 25-14 and 25-14. Fort High also won the third exhibition set by a 25-17 margin.
The Muskie juniors were the lone squad to come away without a win, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Warriors to see their league record fall to 4-2.
Set scores were 15-25, 25-18, and 21-25.
