Muskies win Shootout Cup

It’s a wonder the Muskie boys’ hockey team even could lift their arms in celebration a day after almost reaching the 20-goal mark.
But the black-and-gold had enough strength in their bodies to muster a 5-3 victory over host Detroit Lakes in the inaugural Thanksgiving Shootout Cup tournament.
It’s not often a team’s offensive production drops 75 percent from the previous game and still results in a win.
But that was the case as Fort High overwhelmed Bagley, Mn. 19-0 in Friday’s semi-final of the four-team tournament.
Goal scorers for the Muskies for both games were unavailable by press time today.
Fort High returns to NorWOSSA action tomorrow (Dec. 1) at 7:15 p.m. when the Dryden Eagles invade the Ice For Kids Arena.
