The annual Fort Frances Muskie boys’ hockey tournament is scheduled for this weekend (Nov. 3-5).
This year’s field consists of four teams—the Muskies, Fort Frances Canadians, Shattuck St. Mary’s Sabres, and Green Bay Bobcats.
The Canadians kick off what promises to be an exciting weekend of hockey Friday at 6 p.m. when they take on the Bobcats.
The black-and-gold will see their first action at 8 p.m. when they face the Sabres.
All of the games will take place at the Ice for Kids Arena.
Admission is $5 per game or $10 for a weekend pass (Muskie season passes are not valid for tournaments).
The Muskie Blueline Club also will be on hand selling raffle tickets throughout the weekend for a draw to be held at the annual Muskie tea and bake sale Dec. 16 at La Place Rendez-Vous.
First prize is a 37” LCD TV valued at roughly $2,050. Second prize is a Toshiba portable DVD player.
Tickets cost $5 each and only 2,000 tickets have been printed.
