The Muskie boys’ hockey team hope to stay in its offensive groove from the weekend when the Chisholm Blue Streaks invade the Ice for Kids Arena tonight at 7:30.
The game is the first of two exhibition clashes between the teams this season, with the rematch set for Feb. 6 in Chisholm.
The black-and-gold are coming off a two-game blowout against Sioux Lookout there last Friday and Saturday, which saw the Muskies outscore the Warriors by a combined total of 35-3.
The first-place Muskies (5-0) will resume NorWOSSA play this Friday and Saturday with a pair of games against the Red Lake Rams at the Ice for Kids Arena.
Game time Friday is 7:30 p.m., while the puck dropping Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
The Muskie girls’ hockey team (0-3) returns to NorWOSSA action Dec. 10 at home against the Beaver Brae Broncos (2-0).
Fort High will be seeking to avenge a 9-0 drubbing received at the hands of the Broncos up there two weeks ago.
