The local men’s basketball league has moved from Mondays to Wednesdays, but the regulars still are back to play.
The league kicked off its season with a pair of games at Fort High last night, with the Muskies and Taggs both winning by wide margins.
The Muskies thumped Rendez-Vous 84-60 on the strength of 29 points from Justin Anderson.
Brad Wardas replied with 16 points for the Vous.
In the other game, Taggs pounded defending champion Boston Pizza 97-71 in a battle of fine three-point shooting.
Leading scorers Morgan Anderson of Taggs (32 points) and John Sivonen of Boston Pizza (36) made eight three-pointers apiece.
