The team is taking 30 athletes to the 2 day NWOSSAA championships which run today and tomorrow in Thunder Bay. Unfortunately NWOSSAA has decided that athletes from the division will not attend OFSAA.
On Thursday, June 2 the Muskies will host their final meet of the season at FFHS.
FFHS will have about 45 competitors and Coach John Dutton says they have commitments from Dryden and Kenora already. They are also anticipating grade seven and eight athletes from across the district, with some hopefully coming from Atikokan and Rainy River High Schools.
Dutton is still looking for volunteers to work as timers, officials and marshalls at the meet next week at FFHS.
Anyone interested in volunteering can contact coach Dutton at 274-6309.
