The Muskie court teams took three of four matches from the host Kenora Broncos on Tuesday.
The junior boys’ volleyball team continued their NorWOSSA dominance with a four-set victory by scores of 25-10, 12-25, 25-17 and 25-16 to improve to 6-0 on the season.
The senior boys saw their struggles continue, however, losing in straight sets by scores of 25-13-25, 25-23, and 25-12 to fall to 0-6.
On the basketball court, Chantal Jodoin scored eight points and Mary Strain added seven as the Muskie junior girls rolled to a 24-6 romp over Kenora.
The squad sits in first place with a 5-1 record.
The juniors are hosting a tournament at Fort High, beginning today at 4 p.m. when they take on St. Patrick’s (Thunder Bay).
The senior girls, meanwhile, eked out a 26-21 win against the Broncos on Tuesday to improve to 4-2 in NorWOSSA play.
Jolene Stahn had a game-high eight points while Chelsea Hill (six) and Kayla Windigo (five) contributed to the narrow win.
