Muskies host Chisholm tonight

The offensive juggernaut that is the Muskie boys’ hockey team will have to contend with some southern invaders here tonight.
The black-and-gold—coming off a four-game sweep of NorWOSSA opponents Nov. 28-30—will take on the Chisholm Blue Streaks in exhibition action at 7:30 p.m. at the Ice for Kids Arena.
The Muskies swept the two games with the Blue Streaks last season, winning 5-0 here last December and then taking a 4-2 decision there in February.
Fort High then will look to improve their 7-0-1 NorWOSSA record tomorrow night when they travel to Dryden to face the hometown Eagles.
Their next home games will be this Friday (6:45 p.m. at the Ice for Kids Arena) and Saturday (11:30 a.m. in the ’52 Canadians Arena) in a two-game series against another NorWOSSA opponent—the muchimproved Red Lake Rams.
Muskie captain Steven Sus currently is second behind the Rams’ Breven Gawley in the NorWOSSA scoring race with 11 goals and 13 assists.
Three other Muskies are in the league’s top 10, with David Pierce in sixth (16 goals/five assists), Tyler Miller in eighth (7/12), and Justin Larson in 10th (3/14).
